Isklatring/ice climbing! Endret dato

Det er ingen grunn til å bare klatre på plastikk når vinteren kommer!

Rjukan er en isklatredestinasjon i verdensklasse, i tillegg til å ligge i nærheten av mye bra skikjøring.
For de som er fersk til isklatring holder vi kurs, hvor du lærer alt du trenger for å klatre is sikkert og effektivt.

Dette kurset krever at du har brattkort fra før. I utgangspunktet har vi én instruktør, som maks kan ha fire deltakere. Ved stor etterspørsel kan vi ha flere instruktører.

Vi har holdt av 10 sengeplasser på Rjukan Old School hostel som er samlingspunktet for alle som driver med bratt vintersport i Rjukan. 

Utstyr du trenger:
Stive fjellsko (som har feste for stegjern)
Varme klær
Solide hansker (helst to par)
Klatresele, ATC, låsekarabiner

Alt annet utstyr kan vi stille med.

Rjukan is a world class ice climbing destination, in addition to offer a lot of nice skiing. 

For those who are new to ice climbing, we will offer a course, that give you a thorough introduction to all you need to know to safely and efficient climb ice. 

The course demands that you have a brattkort in advance (OSI instructors are able to conduct the test). The course have room for four participants, but if the demand is high we may be able to offer additional spots. 

We will stay at Rjukan Old School hostel, which is the place to stay for climbers and alpinists in Rjukan. 

Equipment you will need:
Rigid boots with possibility for crampons
Warm clothing (preferably watherproof/resistant)
Warm gloves (preferably two pairs)
Climbing harness, locking carabiner, belay device
